3 Ways To Boost Your PVA Bags

Glugs, Liquids and Powders can really supercharge your carp fishing baits and win extra bites. Here's some quick tips on how to use them...

Making your Hookbait and surrounding feed sing with attraction can be a superb tactic that catches the carp's attention and make you stand out from the crowd of other anglers on the bank.

PVA Bags like those tied with our ChopStix are an awesome and reliable choice for getting feed presented tightly around your Rig, but you can go one step further by boosting them...

Glug Them

Before you cast your bags out, grab yourself some PVA friendly glug and lower them in for 5-10 seconds. This will give the bags a sticky outer coating that will explode off when the bag hits the water, sending a slick of attraction all through the layers.

PVA Friendly Glug

Syrup Soaks

This method is a good choice for longer lasting attraction and can be done prior to your session. Simply grab yourself a Sandwich Bag, drop in some pre-tied PVA Bags of pellets and squirt in some PVA Friendly Liquid and Syrups. Give the bag a good old shake and let the PVA Bags sit in there until you're ready to hook them on and cast out.

Coat Them

This tactic is super under used but works wonders. Grab yourself a really sticky PVA Friendly Liquid like Mainline Smart Liquid or Goo and smear this on the outside of your tied PVA Bags. You then need to roll these bags in a fine groundbait mix. This will then stick to the outside of the bag, giving it a mega attractive crusty outer coating. This outer layer will not only burst off when the bag hits the water, the particles will then be suspended and slowly flutter down to the area of your Rig - next level attraction!
