How To Decide Between Fluorocarbon or Braid For Hooklinks
Stuck deciding between a Stiff Fluorocarbon like our Kickback or a Braided material like our Blend Coated or 50lb Ammo for your Ronnie or Hinge Rig Hooklinks? Here's how to decide!
This puzzle is all determined by the lakebed! So having a good Lead about and knowing what exactly you are fishing over is essential!
For clear and flat bottoms, go for the Kickback. This beautiful rigid material does exactly what it says on the tin, it “kicks” the Hooklink away from the Lead every time. Giving you brilliant resetting and responsive hooking properties.

For uneven bottoms, however, a stiff material like Kickback may stick up awkwardly over structures. This is when you need to switch to the Ammo or Blend Coated Braids.
These materials will ride over the bottom contours giving you a superb and well disguised presentation.
Kickback for flat and clean, Ammo or Blend for uneven and dirty. It’s that simple. Now go have fun and nail some carp!
